Codruț Ianăși is an electronics engineer, researcher and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience in engineering, technology and business development.
His career began in academia at the Polytechnic Institute of Timișoara, followed by the establishment of A&C Bluesys in 1997 and the development of Bluesys into an engineering and manufacturing business serving international OEM manufacturers.
His professional background combines academic research, industrial electronics, embedded systems, product development and entrepreneurship.

1991–1997 | University Teaching Assistant — Television Engineering Department
After graduating in Electronics in 1991, Codruț Ianăși began his academic career as a University Teaching Assistant at the Television Engineering Department of the Polytechnic Institute of Timișoara, subsequently Politehnica University of Timișoara.
His work included university teaching, laboratory activities and technical research in electronics and television systems.
He continued his scientific research while building his business and earned his PhD in Electronic Engineering from Politehnica University of Timișoara in 2006.
His doctoral research focused on background estimation and subtraction in video surveillance using nonparametric methods, with an emphasis on computational efficiency and real-time processing.

The selected publications below are listed with their original bibliographic details and links to the journal, repository or university.
In 1997, Codruț Ianăși moved from academia into entrepreneurship, developing A&C Bluesys as a business focused initially on office equipment, computing technology and commercial distribution.
A major turning point came in 1999, when an opportunity to develop an electronic control system for a US equipment manufacturer led to the formation of an industrial electronics engineering team.
The first project, MTRS, was an electronic controller for a professional commercial oven.
In 2000, the prototype was presented in the United States. The project led to production orders and opened the way for a growing range of OEM electronic control products.
During the following years, Bluesys developed dedicated electronic controllers integrating hardware, firmware, sensors, operator interfaces and industrial communication.
The company expanded its international OEM activities and established its own premises in Timișoara in 2006.
In 2008, the Bluesys Group broadened its commercial activities into professional tools, industrial machinery and technical equipment.
Today, Bluesys continues to develop and manufacture control electronics, embedded software, HMI solutions and connected systems for industrial and commercial equipment manufacturers.
The work begins with an understanding of the customer’s equipment and its operating requirements.
The electronics, embedded software, interface and connectivity are developed together to achieve a reliable, manufacturable and maintainable product.
This engineering-led approach has guided Bluesys from its earliest OEM projects to today’s connected control systems.
