International standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), setting requirements for a quality management system: controlled processes, efficient production and service, improving customer satisfaction.

Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It is closely linked to the WEEE Directive, which governs the collection and recycling of such equipment.
